As a Cyber Services Product and Program Lead (m/f/d), you will be responsible for shaping Vestas Cyber Security Services.

You will work in Vestas Service business area and manage the commercial portfolio of OT and Cyber Security Services, this is a dual role that combines product and program ownership.

This position sits within Global Service Commercial, under Plant and Energy Solutions Product Development. The responsibility of the department is to define and mature-to-market plant, cyber and digital service offerings for selling long term service agreements and other contractual service offerings within the renewable energy sector. Cyber security is an important strategic initiative that supports Vestas' vision to be a leader in renewable energy solutions and shall ensure long-term profitability and competitiveness of Vestas Service business.

Responsibilities:

As Cyber Services Product and Program Lead you will work closely with global and regional cross-functional teams to lead the roadmap of cyber security services within Vestas' service business. The role will be the Global Service Commercial product lead for bringing ideas to market around Vestas' cyber security offerings.

  • Program Management - you oversee the portfolio of our projects in the OT and Cyber Security services area. You are first point of contact on reporting around our initiatives, summarizing development budgets and defining governance in cooperation with other departments. You support strategic work and can manage projects, when needed.
  • Service product roadmap - you will be responsible to build a long-term roadmap while ensuring the strategic direction is firm and accepted in close alignment with relevant parts of the business. You will position the services with reference to different market and customer groups, lead competitor and industry analysis, ensure business case development and alignment with relevant functions and integrate commercial and technical elements into cohesive offerings.
  • Product Management - you take Cyber Security service product and solutions to market that are scalable, standardized and matured to ensure high market efficiency, risk management optimization and highest possible value contribution. You lead the launch of our solutions and understand what our frontline requires for selling. You can produce relevant commercial documentation, define commercial structures and manage internal product training.
  • Requirement management - you understand customer expectations and are skilled in working with Global Experts in gathering requirements, that you will translate towards new services design. On top, you can formulate commercial targets making sure our services can be effectively deployed with customers.You can facilitate alignment across functions when trade-offs are required to deliver effective and scalable solutions.
  • Product Accountability - you provide support to the regional sales teams in responding to customer and sales request as a go-to-market lead post-launch.

Qualifications:

  • Academic background in Business Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Operational Technology (OT), Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within a technology-driven environment.
  • Experience working effectively in a matrix organization.
  • Ideally, a background in a commercially focused role
  • Solid understanding of networking technologies, SCADA systems, and cybersecurity, gained through professional experience is a plus.
  • Previous experience in the renewable energy industry is considered a strong advantage.
  • Excellent command of English; German language skills are a plus.

  • Solid technological aptitude with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to general audiences, in speaking and writing
