About the opportunity Join QIAGEN as an Information Security Manager and play a key role in strengthening our global information security and compliance landscape. In this role, you will own and continuously enhance our Information Security Management System (ISMS), ensuring alignment with ISO 27001 requirements and evolving regulatory expectations. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, you will drive security governance, risk management, compliance initiatives, and security awareness activities across the organization. This position offers the opportunity to shape strategic security programs while supporting a dynamic, international, and highly regulated business environment. This position can be based in Germany (Hilden) or Poland (Wroclaw). Occasional international travel may be required.

Your tasks include

Own, maintain, and continuously improve QIAGEN’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) and Security Compliance Program, including the ongoing development of our ISO 27001 certification framework Develop, maintain, and communicate information security policies, standards, and procedures across the organization Support internal and external audits, certification activities, and regulatory compliance programs Conduct information security risk assessments, compliance reviews, gap analyses and track remediation Advise business stakeholders on information security, cybersecurity, governance, risk, and compliance Contribute to the company-wide security awareness program and monitor emerging cyber threats, industry trends, and regulatory developments

Your profile

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, governance, risk and compliance, or a comparable role within an international organization Proven track record in implementing, managing, and improving an ISO 27001-certified Information Security Management System (ISMS), ideally within a manufacturing or regulated environment Professional certification such as ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent Strong knowledge of ISO 27001 requirements, information security governance, risk management methodologies, and relevant European and German cybersecurity regulations Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with fluency in German and English Strategic, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset, combined with a pragmatic approach and the ability to influence stakeholders across a multinational organization
