HLA Product Owner – Aerospace (m/f/d)

Your prospective job: For permanent employment at our international client in the aviation and space programs industry, we are looking for you as a HLA Product Owner – Aerospace (m/f/d) located in Bremen. You will be creating technical concepts and requirements for the simulator.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage and control software development tasks and the backlog
• Provide information flow between the software team and stakeholders in an international expert team (intern and extern)
• Control technical progress, schedule, cost, and quality in close coordination with the project manager
• Riskmanagement for software products
• Lead the review and assessment of changes impacting scope, budget, or timeline
• Prepare and conduct technical reviews and support milestone reviews of the project

Your profile:

• A degree in the field of computer science, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering or comparable qualification
• Work experience with distributed simulation frameworks (HLA), and with system-of-systems simulation is preferred
• Professional experience in defence-related simulator developments would be a plus
• Experience with applicable NATO standards and processes, and/or knowledge of related process standards from adjacent fields (such as ECSS-E-ST-40C and ECSS-Q-ST-80C or DO178B)
• Know-How in the field of communication and documentation
• Ability and willingness to achieve a German security clearance
• Very good English skills, spoken and written
