Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f/d) Robotics

Your tasks:
- Design and improve mechanical components and assemblies for humanoid robotics prototypes
- Create and maintain manufacturing, assembly, and detailed drawings for actuator and joint systems
- Manage and optimize Bills of Materials (BOMs) for actuators, structural components, and assemblies
- Design brackets, interfaces, structural parts, and mounting elements using SolidWorks or similar CAD tools
- Perform tolerance analyses (Worst-Case and RSS) to ensure fit, functionality, and manufacturability
- Apply GD&T and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles throughout the design process
- Collaborate with electrical, software, and robotics engineers to ensure successful system integration
Your profile:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or comparable CAD software
- Experience with tolerance analysis, GD&T and DFM
- Background in precision mechanics, actuators, gearboxes, bearings, or motor integration is a plus
- Robotics experience is desirable
- Availability to work on-site several days per month is preferred
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
