Job Description

INTERNSHIP – TELEOPERATION & DATA LABELING (M/F/D)

WHO WE ARE

We build the intelligence that lets robots sense, reason, and act in the real world—moving beyond the lab and into everyday industrial settings like warehouses and factories. Our technology closes the automation gaps that traditional systems can’t solve. We are on a mission to redefine how physical work gets done, and we’re looking for curious, bold thinkers to help shape the future of robotics with us.

OVERVIEW

We are looking for a tech-savvy intern with a passion for robotics, machine learning, or computer vision who wants hands-on experience in teleoperation and operating state-of-the-art robots. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn, contribute, and gain practical exposure to advanced AI-driven robotic systems.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Robot Teleoperation: Collect high-quality data by controlling robots through a VR headset.

  • Data Labeling: Label visual data (images, point clouds) with speed and precision.

  • Use terminal basics to run existing tooling (bash + Python scripts) for data collection, uploads, and checks

  • Do simple debugging: reproduce issues, collect logs, and write clear problem reports (steps, expected vs actual, timestamps, logs/screenshots)

  • Collaboration: Work with a fast-paced, innovative tech team.

  • Travel to different sites within the EU may be required

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Robotics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Basic understanding of datasets and structured data workflows.

  • Comfortable wearing a VR headset for extended periods (note: our VR headsets cannot accommodate eyeglasses; alternative corrective options required).

  • Terminal basics (macOS/Linux): navigate directories, run commands, set env vars, read outputs

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Can run and modify existing Python scripts; comfortable executing bash/Python commands

  • Willingness to travel

  • Driving license valid in the EU is helpful (company car / rental), if available

Location:

2 options for the location, depending on where you are based:

  • Stuttgart-Vaihingen, Germany with occasional travel within the EU

  • Czechia OR Netherlands with frequent travel within the country

Duration: Minimum 3 months, full-time (40 h/week)

OUR INTERVIEW PLAN:

  • Application

  • Take‑home assignment: You’ll complete a short, role‑relevant task with clear instructions and a deadline.

  • Cultural fit interview (40 min): A conversation about how you work, what motivates you, and what you’re looking for. Expect CV highlights, your “why,” and time for your questions.

  • On‑site assessment day: Meet the team at our office and collaborate on a real challenge similar to the work you’d do here. You’ll get a clear feel for the environment, ways of working, and the role.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Real-world experience with cutting-edge robotic systems.

  • Fitness membership with Wellpass.

  • Regular team events and a supportive team culture.

  • An opportunity to develop hands-on skills in a high-growth robotics company.

Note to applicants: We are currently experiencing a high volume of interest in this role. Due to this, our review process is taking a bit longer than usual. We appreciate your patience.
