Job Description
Your Role As Associate SAP Software Engineer, you are part of the ERP Product team, which develops Products in close collaboration with our Finance & Legal Department. In a highly integrated and automated system landscape, you design and implement solutions in S/4HANA that are scalable and seamlessly integrated with the rest of our tech stack.
Your Mission
Act as the technical escalation point for our financial core. The hardest FICO problems end with you.
Own solution design and system architecture for the finance platform: design solutions in S/4HANA, decide build-vs-configure-vs-standard, and technically validate every change before production.
Lead FICO workstreams in our SAP transformation from redesigning Record-to-Report and Controlling to quality-gating deliverables from our external implementation partner.
Continuously monitor and improve existing financial workflows, ensuring they align with SAP Global Standards and "Clean Core" principles.
Mentor and grow our FICO consultants: review their work, develop their skills, and build the runbooks and best practices that make the team resilient.
Support the design of modern integrations using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to connect S/4HANA with internal and external systems.
Challenge the status quo. Proactively look for configuration, tools or automation solutions that save time and enhance customer experience in SAP.
Your Profile
8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO (GL, AP/AR, AA, CO) in SAP S4H Private Cloud. Solid knowledge of SAP REFX.
Understanding of integration points with other modules (eg. MM, SD, Subscription Billing). SAP Treasury and BCM are a plus.
Proven experience designing RICEFW items, including interface design in SAP Integration Suites (CPI, BTP).
Solid Accounting background (IFRS and HGB).
Proven experience steering or quality-gating external consultants / system integrators. You can tell a good deliverable from a plausible one.
You are obsessed with SAP Standards and shy away from custom solutions in order to keep the system maintainable. You actively advocate for returning to standard.
You have experience in full-cycle implementations or major roll-outs and feel comfortable moving between deep technical tasks and high-level project management.
You are proactive, decisive, and grow stronger by solving complex problems in a fast-paced environment.
Experience mentoring or technically leading other consultants. You raise the bar of people around you, not just your own output.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Highly analytical and data-driven, coupled with customer obsession and eagerness to work in a fast paced and impact-driven environment.
Experience in product development and Agile methodologies.
Fluent in English.
Understanding of adjacent systems in the data chain (DWH, automation tools) is a plus.
