In order to support our flight controls engineering department, Airbus Operations is looking for a Systems Engineer for Flight Controls (High Lift Systems) (d/f/m)

Your tasks and responsibilities

Design, development, and integration of the High Lift System and its sub-system control architecture.

Application of automated controls technology in flight control systems, including assessment of filtering, estimation, and stability needs.

Definition and identification of checks and balances along the development cycle to ensure product maturity across milestone gates.

Identification of lifecycle activities to develop, maintain, and support the design/product.

Definition of work package contents and activities.

Desired skills and qualifications

University degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in electrical engineering, information technology, systems engineering, or a related field.

Broad knowledge in at least two relevant disciplines (e.g., communication/controls technology, sensing and data generation, software development, or systems engineering).

Good understanding of tool applications in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and/or software development. Knowledge of data analytics would be a plus.

Strong team player with good communication skills, personal engagement, and adaptability to work in an international environment.

Willingness to travel for business up to once a month worldwide.

Advanced language skills in English and German; French skills are an asset.
