Job Description

Since 2016, Mercedes-Benz Connectivity Services GmbH has been connecting the automotive and digital world around the connected vehicle: With innovative data-based solutions, the subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz AG enables its B2B customers to make business processes more efficient, improve customer experiences or develop new business models. Mercedes-Benz Connectivity Services creates digital solutions of the future that help B2B customers to increase their process quality and efficiency, improve customer experiences, act more sustainably or develop new business models. It is based on real-time data from measuring points and signals inside and outside of Mercedes-Benz vehicles worldwide. This data is used to generate added value for products and processes in companies from a wide range of industries. The secure and responsible handling of data is hereby the basis for the acceptance of services around connected driving. The Stuttgart-based company has about 85 employees working on the development, operation and sales of digital data-based products.  The Processes & Systems team is part of the Corporate Functions department and is responsible for the company’s core IT systems. We operate and continuously enhance our Finance IT systems, our CRM platform, and the Mercedes-Benz Developer Portal. From requirements gathering and implementation to ongoing operations, we support these systems throughout their entire lifecycle. As a team, we work closely with business departments, internal IT partners, and external service providers to ensure our systems run reliably and continuously evolve.   These exciting tasks are waiting for you:

You design and develop scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, APIs, and integrations. Ideally, you also have Java expertise and experience with microservices architectures You combine development and administration skills, taking responsibility for configuration, customization, and access management concepts as needed You provide expert guidance on Salesforce-related topics, focusing on technical feasibility, architecture, and best practices You ensure adherence to coding standards, conduct code reviews, and take ownership of technical quality assurance, including the design and execution of testing activities You successfully implement integrations with third-party systems (e.g., REST/SOAP services, middleware platforms, and external applications) You support release management as well as CI/CD, DevOps, and deployment processes You analyze issues in existing codebases and develop sustainable solutions and improvements You act as a technical sparring partner for Product Owners, Salesforce Consultants, and external service providers The position is filled as soon as possible on a full-time basis.

Your profile:

You hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or have equivalent professional experience You have solid experience developing on the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQL/SOSL You have hands-on experience with Salesforce administration, including customization, configuration, and permission management You possess a strong understanding of Salesforce architectures, as well as common design patterns and best practices You have a strong quality mindset and experience with code reviews, testing (e.g., unit and integration testing), and technical quality assurance activities You are familiar with modern software development processes and the tools that support them (e.g., Scrum, Jira, Confluence, etc.) You work in a structured and solution-oriented manner and enjoy analyzing and solving technical challenges in a sustainable way Ideally, you have a good command of German; however, fluent business-level English skills are required   We offer more than just an employment relationship:
