Job Description

As the Tech Lead for Software Engineering, you will be the core leader responsible for the technical success of our SW & AI industrial application. Your primary mission is to guide a team of skilled engineers in building and operating the robust, secure, and scalable SW & AI systems that power our industrial AI applications. We are seeking a leader who excels at translating complex user requirements into a clear technical vision and an actionable delivery plan. This role requires a blend of deep architectural knowledge, hands-on leadership, and a passion for engineering excellence. You will be responsible for stakeholder management, coaching your team, and ensuring the timely delivery of complete SW & AI systems. Core Responsibilities

Lead, Plan, and Deliver: You are responsible for the team's technical execution. This involves translating user stories into detailed technical work packages, creating and managing the delivery plan in close cooperation with the AI Team and your own team, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and on specification. Mentor and Coach: You will provide technical leadership and coaching to software engineers, fostering a culture of engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and collaborative problem-solving. Architect and Design: You will lead the technical design of our end-to-end cloud applications, including architecture for the backend, frontend, data engineering pipelines, and cloud infrastructure. Drive Engineering Excellence: You will champion and enforce strong engineering practices, including clean code, comprehensive version control, automated testing, and robust CI/CD pipelines, continuously improving our development methodologies and tooling. Manage Stakeholders: You will work closely with product owners, the AI team, and business stakeholders to align the technical direction, manage expectations, and communicate progress and risks effectively.

Qualifications

Education: A completed degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Leadership Experience: Several years of professional experience with a proven track record of leading and building high-performing software engineering teams and delivering scalable, cloud-based applications to production. Architectural Expertise: Strong technical grounding and the ability to dive into detailed design while also collaboratively creating and communicating the high-level system architecture. Cloud & DevOps Mastery: Deep experience with modern cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and establishing strong DevOps practices. Strong Engineering Practices: A commitment to engineering excellence with hands-on experience in clean code principles, version control, and building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines. AI Integration Familiarity: A solid understanding of the AI lifecycle (data engineering, MLOps, deployment) is a significant advantage, ensuring seamless collaboration with the AI team.
