As a team member, you will work on projects that generate value from software, data, and AI by delivering strategies and solutions that challenge conventional industry practices and drive technological progress. Together with over 2,300 fellow experts, you enable Fortune 500 firms, global market leaders, and SMEs to maximize the impact of their digital initiatives and achieve digital excellence. In everything we do, we prioritize people and genuine human connections, ensuring a supportive and inclusive work environment. And we give you maximum flexibility thanks to our hybrid workplace.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Take ownership of frontend development within a micro-frontend architecture inside the project.

Design, implement, and maintain scalable, modular, and accessible UI components.

Collaborate closely with backend engineers using API-first and BFF patterns.

Contribute to the transition phase, including knowledge transfer from the external supplier and stabilization of existing systems.

Drive modernization initiatives, especially around outdated frontend technologies (the current ExtJS-based application) and performance bottlenecks.

Ensure high code quality through TDD, code reviews, and automated testing.

Optimize applications for performance, accessibility (a11y), SEO, and sustainability.

Actively contribute to architectural decisions with a frontend perspective.

Support CI/CD pipelines and containerized frontend deployments (Docker).

Work in cross-functional, self-organized agile product teams and collaborate with stakeholders.

Key Deliverables

High-quality, production-ready frontend features aligned with business requirements.

Maintainable and well-documented frontend codebases.

Improved application performance, stability, and user experience.

Successful transition of ownership from the previous supplier.

Contributions to a modern, agile, and outcome-driven product organization.

A strategically important project with high visibility, being the first insourcing initiative of its kind at diconium.

Full end-to-end ownership of frontend topics, from architecture and implementation to operations and optimization.

A complex, real-world product landscape with long-running systems, many interfaces, and meaningful technical challenges.

Active involvement in a transition phase, followed by shaping a modern, agile, outcome-driven product organization.

The opportunity to modernize and future-proof frontend technology, architecture, and development practices.

Close collaboration in cross-functional, self-organized product teams with a strong engineering culture.

Room to influence technical decisions, standards, and best practices across products.

A strong focus on quality, accessibility, performance, and sustainability.

Continuous learning through hands-on problem solving, knowledge sharing, and exposure to modern frontend and cloud technologies.

An international setup with English as working language, nearshore collaboration, and limited travel (~10days / year).
